Placing An Order:

Placing an order Online is simple. Click on the Product Category Tabs to take you into the range of products on sale for that category. When you have selected the product you wish to purchase, click on its tab, please ensure you define the colour and size required, then click the add to basket button for items that you wish to buy. The contents of your basket are displayed in the box at the top right hand corner on every page so you can see a running total of items you are ordering. After you have selected all the products you wish to purchase, click on "Checkout Now". The following screens will take you thru the checkout and payment process.

When entering your details during the order placement process, please double check to ensure you give specified the correct contact information. Incorrect details will delay processing your order and at worst lost orders at delivery. We do not accept any liability for lost orders where incorrect delivery details have been provided. Although we are happy to deliver goods to an alternative address (eg. your place of employment), your billing name and address must match that of the credit/debit card used for payment. If details don't match, then further checks are carried out to protect both our customers and ourselves from possible fraudulent transactions. We will not process orders with a PO Box delivery address. Orders will only be dispatched once they have passed all our security checks and payment has been received in to our bank account.

Once you have placed your order and completed the checkout process, we shall forward an order confirmation email to the address you have provided. Please check your incoming emails for this. Please be aware, should you be operating a tight spam filter, this confirmation mail could be blocked. Should you have not received this confirmation email within 48hrs, contact us either via email or phone.

Order Payments & Security:

We accept all major credit/debit cards such as Mastercard, Visa, Maestro and Solo. We also accept Paypal payments. There are no additional charges for using a credit card.

We believe in providing a safe shopping environment for our customers. Payment transactions are processed on our secure server; you are not diverted away to another server. Customers details and payment information is kept safe and secure. All our servers are protected by several hardware firewalls and our payment pages are protected by a 128bit secure server. In addition our payment gateway utilizes CI DSS Compliant Ecommerce Software. Payment Card Industry (PCI) Compliance is a set of security standards that were created by the major credit card companies American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB, MasterCard Worldwide, and Visa International to protect their customers from increasing identity theft and security breaches. All our servers have pastsed several PCI data security checks and are regularly scanned by anti hacker services.

We also accept Paypal payments. There is no requirement for you to open a Paypal account; however, if you do have an account, this can be used. To pay by Paypal, continue through our standard checkout process. When you have completed this, select Paypal as the payment option. You will be automatically transferred to Paypal's secure payment system to complete the payment process. We never see your card or bank details.

You may wish to pay by Cheque. Please use the shopping cart as normal, select "cheque" in the payment option of the checkout page. Print the page out and send it, along with your cheque, Your Name & Address, contact number, email address, your delivery address,to:

Skates R Us is committed to protecting your privacy. The information we collect from you is to facilitate Order processing and simplify your shopping experience in our online shop. No information collected by us on this site will be sold, rented or loaned. When you order, we collect personal information such as your name, e-mail address, delivery address, telephone number, credit or debit card number and the card's expiry date. This allows us to process your order, to advise you of the order status.

We will collect other marketing information from any data you provide from competition, survey entries, newsletters, Blogs or email correspondence with Skates R Us.

We may use the information we collect to occasionally notify you about news and information about goods and services we think you may find valuable. At every point on the site where such personal information is collected, we give you the option to tell us if you do not want your personal information used in this way. Information collected could be used to help us provide further services on this site in the future.

We employ other companies to perform functions on our behalf, i.e. fulfilling orders, dispatch/shipping, processing credit card payments, carrying out website maintenance. Our contractors have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but use this information for the sole purpose of carrying out their agreed services.

We may share non-personal aggregate statistics (group) data about visitors to this site, sales and traffic patterns. However we do not sell or share any information about you as an individual user of this site.

Refunds & Returns Policy:

We at Skates R Us strive to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. However, on the few occasions when things can and do go wrong, you are not satisfied with the products, then please contact us in the first instance, make us aware of your issues. To Return goods, they must be returned within 7 days of receipt, for either a full refund (less delivery charges) or a replacement. Return Postage is paid for by the customer. Should the reason for return be an error on our part, or the product is faulty, we will refund the cost of the return postage. For goods returned because of an incorrect purchase by the customer, a re stocking charge of 15% of the purchase price for each item  returned, shall apply.

Refunds will be made as soon as possible after returned goods are received and checked by us. In all cases please telephone 004407502257015 or e-mail on sales@skatesrus.co.uk to discuss and agree the reason for a refund, prior to returning the goods. Once agreed, you will be advised of address for returned goods.

When returning goods, copy of the packing slip supplied with goods must be enclosed. Please advise reason for return and whether you require a refund or an exchange. When returning goods, they must be returned in their original packaging. Please do not append tape or sticky labels to the Manufacturers packaging. Any damage to the manufacturer packaging will entail the goods being returned as damaged.

Please obtain proof of posting when returning goods. Loss or damage during return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. Goods being returned must be in their original packaging, in a new and unused condition, with all packaging documentation intact. We will not make any refund or replace any products that have been returned but do not conform to the above requirements and/or broken or damaged. These goods are deemed as being in a non saleable condition. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

For customer orders placed by post or online, you have the right to cancel an order within seven days of placing the order. However, once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.

Business Terms:

It is the customers/buyer's responsibility to notify us if the goods have not been received within 7 days of the estimated delivery date. If no notification is made within this time period the buyer shall be deemed to have received the goods.

Copying and printing portions of this website is permitted only for the sole purpose of placing an order with us. The materials on our website may not be used for any other purpose without written permission from AB23 E-tailers Ltd.

Several of the products on sale in our website should be used with the appropriate safety equipment such as helmet, gloves and kneepads. They should be used in a safe environment. Users of the products should read all safety instructions provided with the products, have a thorough understanding of how the product operate. As certain products can be deemed as extreme sports equipment, it is the responsibility of the user to ensure that they taken all precautions to ensure their and any third party health and safety are not endangered. Ensure they are adequately insured. Skates R Us accepts no responsibility for the injury or fatality of an individual or third party whilst using any products sold through this website retail shop.

Products as advertised on this website are subject to availability. If we are unable to supply we will let you know as soon as possible, ensure that payment taken from your account, are refunded.

We have tried to ensure that all images, descriptions, specifications and advertising on our website is accurate, they are for suggestion only and subject to change.

The Delivery lead time quoted is our best estimation. We shall Endeavour to deliver goods within the times stated. However, goods will always be subject to availability. In some circumstances delays in delivery could be out with our control. Skates R Us will not be held liable for delays in deliveries caused by acts of God, industrial action, riots, and civil commotion, flood, fire, Adverse Weather conditions or fuel shortages. Any dates we give for delivery of goods are approximate only and, unless caused by our negligence, we will not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay.

Under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000 you have a right to cancel your order for any item purchased through our website within 7 days of receipt. If you decide to cancel after receiving your order, please see our Returns and Refunds policy.

We do our best to price our goods competitively but do not make any claims or price guarantees. We reserve the right to alter our prices without notice.
