For small light weight goods, shipments are via Royal Mail postal service. For larger, heavier goods, shipment is via Parcel Force on a 48hr service as standard.

On receipt of your order, we shall email you to advise of your order confirmation. Please ensure that you check and verify order confirmation. Any discrepancies must be advised within 24hrs. Once payments have been cleared to our bank account, typically 24hrs for electronic payments , up to 7 days for Cheque payments. We typically take one working day to process your order for picking, packaging and arranging courier pick up. Typical goods Dispatch being 48hrs from reciept of orders Mon Thru Friday. During busy periods, ie: High Volume of orders being processed, orders can take up to 2 working days to process. for dispatch. For express next working day delivery orders, dispatch will be 24hrs from reciept of order. Allow 2 working days for reciept of goods. Should an item be out of stock, we shall advise by email, confirm with our best delivery date.

For the Highlands & Islands of Scotland, ie: Post Codes HS, IV, KA, KW, PH & ZE, Standard delivery lead times for these post codes will be from 3 to 5 working days. Refer to table below for shipping costs.

Please ensure that a contact telephone number is advised in the customer contact details within the Checkout page. Failing to provide a contact telephone number will prevent you order being processed and will incurr a delay in dispatch.

Orders will not be processed for any PO Box delivery addresses. Goods must be signed for on receipt. Will require someone to be at address to sign for the goods. If no one is present to take delivery, goods will be returned to your local Royal Mail or  Parcel Force service depot, a calling card will be left. Should an order be returned to us by the courier as “not able to deliver” or Customer refusing to accept delivery, the shipping costs incurred for the returned goods will be charged to the customer. Any additional cost to re deliver the goods for such orders will be the responsibility of the customer. We provide the option to specify an alternate delivery address on the customer contact detail form at Checkout, please use this option to ensure all deliveries are receipted with a signature. However, when you are specifying a delivery address that is different from your home address, then the home address specified on the customer detail form at checkout, must match the home address registered against the credit card being used to make the payment. Failure to match will prevent the electronic payment from being processed.     

For goods being returned, they must be returned within 7 days of receipt. For faulty or damaged goods, return shipping charges will be paid by Skates R Us. For Customer order errors, the cost for shipping the returned item/s plus a re stocking charge of 15% of the purchase price for each item will be charged to the customer. When returning goods, they must be returned in their original packaging. Please do not append tape or sticky labels to the Manufacturers packaging. Any damage to the manufacturer packaging will entail the goods being returned as damaged. Goods must be in the unused and unworn condition. Failure to comply will entail the full cost of the goods being charged to the customer. Prior to returning any goods, please contact and agree the returns with Skates R Us. You will be advised of the address where goods should be returned to. When advised, ensure a copy of your customer order, goods delivery note is returned with the goods,  Specify your Name, Address, Contact number and/or Email address and the reason for returning the goods.

For customer orders placed by post or online, you have the right to cancel an order within seven days of placing the order. However, once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.

Shipping charges are determined by the item weight & size, delivery method. ie: Royal Mail or Parcel Force, and delivery loaction. To determine the specific shipping/delivery charge applicable for your order, please ensure you select the applicable delivery option on the delivery method drop down menu on the checkout page. Orders placed after 14.00hrs on a Friday will not be processed till the Monday of the following week.
